National Cancer Institute Clinical Trials are still followed as successful cancer survivors 15 to 20 years.
HOA strongly believes patient participation in clinical trials offers the best hope to achieve improvement in cancer care quality and patient survival
and quality of life.
HOA is proud to be a founding member of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance bringing innovative cancer care to New
Mexico. Our physicians have completed national certification from the
National Institute of Health on Human
Subject Research. All clinical trials have been rigorously reviewed for excellence in the scientific rationale of the clinical trial and through local
and national institute review boards to ensure the clinical trial is reasonable and safe for patient participation.
